Episode 2

Space Station 69 - 2722

David Art Flood, Myrtle and Captain Davey Bones arrive at Space Station 69 aboard the flying saucer recovered from somewhere at the ocean bottom of the Bermuda Triangle in an alternate dimension

Davey told me that he had heard this amazing band on Space Station 69 that was positioned just past Saturn in our solar system 700 years into the future.  So, we plotted our course and in mere moments we arrived at our destination.

We learned quickly that we had passed way beyond what we were used to in the twenty first century as there was equitable intelligence among all species and many species were enhanced with AI, micro-processing computing for enhanced bio and physiological ability.

We arrived at the venue, an upscale Royal Albert Hall replica with a large, elevated transparent dance floor that hovered above the mosh area below. The music from the band was pumped out through a dramatic array of hovering speakers.  They played for 2 hours straight, one song into another until the crowd began to chant for their favorite.  A cover of Al Green’s “Take me to the river,” that they had just released.  As soon as they started (in my mind I was seeing myself singing with them, and then I blurted out “I want to sing this with them…they’ll want me to perform with them.”
